Service Manager who wants more than just a job — we’re looking for a leader who wants to help build and grow a thriving service department. We have the writers, the techs, and now we just need a leader.
This is a rare opportunity to shape the culture, processes, and long-term success of a new Mazda location backed by the strength and reputation of Safford Automotive Group.
What You’ll Do:- Lead, develop, and motivate the service team (advisors, technicians, support staff)
- Drive service department profitability and growth
- Establish efficient processes and high-performance standards from day one
- Deliver exceptional customer satisfaction and retention
- Monitor KPIs including gross profit, effective labor rate, productivity, and CSI
- Recruit, train, and retain top service talent
- Collaborate with executive leadership to execute growth strategies
- Proven experience as an Automotive Service Manager
- Track record of growing service revenue and improving operational performance
- Strong leadership, accountability, and team-building skills
- Customer‑first mindset with a focus on long‑term retention
- Experience with Mazda (preferred but not required)
- Brand‑new awarded Mazda point with significant growth potential
