Job Summary

The Project Manager is responsible for leading the planning, estimating, and execution of landscape enhancement projects while serving as a key point of contact for client engagement. This role partners closely with clients and operations teams to deliver high-quality, value-added improvements that align with long-term property goals. Success in this position is driven by effective project delivery, strong client relationships, and the ability to identify and close enhancement opportunities that result in increased client retention, annual contract growth, and expanded enhancement revenue.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Education:

    Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, Construction/Project Management, or a related field
  • Experience:

    5+ years of relevant industry experience;
    Strong knowledge of regional plant material and landscape applications;
    Minimum 3 years of hands‑on field experience in estimating, design‑build, or project management;
    Proven experience in landscape construction, installation, and irrigation systems;
    Familiarity with commercial landscape equipment and operations
  • Licenses &

    Certifications:

    Valid driver’s license (state of employment);
    Certifications as required by state/federal regulations; PMP certification preferred
  • Specialized

    Skills:

    Strong client service mindset with the ability to build trust and long‑term relationships;
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
    Advanced capabilities in scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control;
    Ability to read and interpret construction plans and technical drawings;
    Experience working with commercial property managers, vendors, consultants, and architects (preferred);
    Strong organizational and time management skills;
    Advanced presentation and client‑facing skills;
    Proficiency in Salesforce, Microsoft Office Suite, and project management tools;
    Experience with design software (AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, Pro Landscape);
    Analytical problem‑solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make sound decisions
Key Responsibilities
  • Client Relationship & Account Management:
    Serve as the primary point of contact for high‑level client and project issues;
    Build and maintain strong, long‑term client relationships;
    Develop a deep understanding of each client’s business goals and property needs;
    Conduct site walkthroughs with clients and internal stakeholders;
    Ensure client expectations are clearly communicated and consistently met
  • Strategic Planning & Account Growth:
    Develop and manage long‑term landscape asset management plans;
    Identify opportunities for enhancements and value‑added services;
    Drive client retention, contract growth, and enhancement revenue;
    Partner with Area Managers to align on account strategy and site performance;
    Monitor site trends and recommend proactive, strategic solutions
  • Project Management & Execution:
    Define project scope, timelines, and budgets;
    Oversee project execution to ensure on‑time and on‑budget delivery;
    Manage communication across internal teams and external stakeholders;
    Visit active job sites to ensure quality, accuracy, and issue resolution;
    Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance across all projects;
    Perform takeoffs and prepare accurate, competitive bid estimates;
    Develop landscape designs, proposals, and client presentations;
    Utilize design and estimating software to produce renderings and plans;
    Present solutions to clients and close enhancement opportunities;
    Meet or exceed annual sales and revenue targets;
    Analyze job cost reports and manage budget variances;
