Job Description

Senior Systems Integration Engineer Full time Onsite

The Senior Systems Integration Engineer is a strategic and hands‑on technical leader responsible for integrating, testing, and advancing complex DoD software systems. This role leads system integration efforts across subsystem and external system boundaries, while developing the automation, tooling, CI/CD pipelines, and secure infrastructure needed to support reliable integration and deployment. The Lead Systems Integration Engineer provides technical direction, mentors engineering teams, and establishes reusable integration, test, and deployment practices that improve consistency, efficiency, and scalability across programs.

This position supports the Beyond Line of Sight (BLOS) Engagement Controller and Manager (BECM) program and requires strong experience in software integration, test engineering, automation, and Dev Sec Ops . The role is responsible for supporting integration and verification activities, developing automated testing and integration capabilities, and maintaining the technical documentation needed to support formal test events and delivery in classified, highly regulated environments.

Work Environment: This is a full‑time, on‑site role in Sterling, VA, with work split between standard office space and SCIF environments. Some flexibility in daily working hours is available and will be coordinated around program requirements and facility access windows.

Duties & Responsibilities

System Integration & Test

Integrate and test software subsystems and external systems, identifying issues related to interface contracts, data exchange, timing, usability, functionality, safety, and security

Write and maintain SWIT and SIT test threads, cases, and steps, and support traceability from requirements through verification evidence

Participate in integration events with external system owners and government stakeholders, including dry runs, formal test events, and site activities

Triage integration defects across system boundaries, isolate root cause, and work with the responsible team to drive closure
