You’ll support our servers and kitchen team to ensure smooth service, while bringing energy, teamwork, and a smile to every shift. Responsibilities- Ensure the cleanliness and sanitization of all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
- Operate dishwashing equipment efficiently and maintain its proper functioning.
- Support the kitchen team by organizing and restocking clean dishes, glassware, and silverware.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, collaborating with fellow team members.
- Adhere to safety and sanitation guidelines for proper handling and disposal of waste.
- Assist in maintaining smooth kitchen operations by working closely with the culinary staff.
Physical Requirements:
- Dishwashing experience in a high-volume restaurant preferred.
- Able to read documents and written instructions to understand sanitation requirements, safety rules, equipment operation and maintenance, policies, and standard operating procedures.
- Certification in food safety and sanitation is a plus.
- Able to work flexible shifts and schedules, inclusive of weekends, and all holidays.
- Stand for long hours, often in wet conditions.
- Lift and carry up to 50 lbs (racks of dishes, garbage bags).
- Work in a hot, humid, and fast-paced environment.
- Bend, stoop, and reach frequently.
- Operate dishwashing equipment safely.
