Austin Grill is seeking a Dining Room Supervisor to join our team. As a Dining Room Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service and overseeing the front‑of‑house operations to create memorable dining experiences. • Supervise, coordinate, and mentor front‑of‑house staff including servers, hosts, and bussers to ensure efficient operations and exceptional customer service.
• Ensure guests have a memorable dining experience by actively engaging with them, addressing concerns promptly, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
• Monitor service quality, presentation, and adherence to restaurant standards, including cleanliness and hygiene.
• Assist in managing inventory levels for dining room supplies and coordinate with vendors for timely restocking.
• Gather and relay guest feedback to management for continuous improvement.
• Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately.

• Previous supervisory or management experience within the restaurant industry preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Customer‑focused mindset with a passion for providing exceptional service.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, customer‑driven environment.
• Basic computer skills for scheduling and reporting.
• Knowledge of food safety and health regulations.
• Ability to handle high‑pressure situations and solve problems effectively.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings as needed.

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 30–40 lbs (chairs, tables, trays, service items).
• Frequent walking between dining areas, service stations, and kitchen.
• Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, and twisting during service and setup.
• Visual and auditory acuity to monitor service quality, staff performance, and guest satisfaction.
• Ability to navigate crowded dining spaces safely and efficiently.
