Retail & Store Manager, Retail Associate/ Customer Service
What will I do?
- Focus on company standards regarding merchandising, highlighting quality, freshness and uniqueness of products
- Use passion and knowledge to educate team members and customers on product offerings
- Proactively approach customers, answer questions, help locate items and offer suggestions to complete their meals
- 1 or more years of work experience or a college degree
- Computer skills
- Experience leading a team
- Enthusiasm for and knowledge of relevant products
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new situations and subject matters
Experience coordinating daily work of others;
Collective customer service experience, internally and/or externally preferably in a food service, grocery or retail setting;
Managerial/supervisory experience living our values and achieving results in our 5 measures;
Work Environment:
The physical demands of this work are classified as medium. Work includes walking, standing for up to 4 hours without a break, repetitive hand and arm movements, occasional heavy lifting, bending, reaching, including lifting above shoulder height, along with continuous interaction with customers and coworkers in a fast-paced environment. The average weight range of items lifted is 15 – 40 pounds with a maximum weight lifted of greater than 50 pounds occasionally.
You may receive assistance with heavy items, if available. Upper extremity repetition is moderate and trunk movement involves moderate twisting, bending, and pivoting. May be exposed to various allergens (things that may cause an allergic reaction).The work environment is indoors with exposure to cold (33 – 55 degrees) temperatures. Basic tools and equipment used include box cutter, u-cart, utility cart, tall multi-shelf cart, hand/power jack, scale, meat knives, grinder, and band saw.;
Experience utilizing a variety of cooking techniques;
Experience working in a butcher shop;
Experience ordering products and controlling inventory
