The Sales Manager leads a sales team to create an exceptional customer experience. Responsibilities include selecting, training, coaching, developing, and retaining Sales Associates, driving market share and achieving unit sales and profit targets while delighting every customer.

- Set clear vision and goals for the sales team to achieve targeted performance in new and used vehicle sales and profit
- Engage and motivate the team to meet performance expectations and Auto Nation best practice processes
- Drive business operations through high-level involvement in day-to-day activities
- Manage negotiations with Sales Associates ensuring customers understand vehicle purchase options and pricing
- Appraise vehicles for trade
- Manage customer traffic across Showroom, E-Commerce, and Phones
- Partner with General Manager/General Sales Manager to plan and manage new and used vehicle inventory
- Assist in managing controllable expense elements for New and Used Vehicle Departments
- Analyze business shortfalls and develop action plans to improve performance
- Targeted unit sales and gross profit
- Targeted Associate retention
- Targeted Customer Satisfaction Index
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Proven success in auto retail sales
- Proven leadership ability to mentor and train others
- Ability to set and achieve targeted goals
- Ability to drive an exceptional Customer experience
- Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills
- Organization and follow-up skills
- Experience and desire to work with technology
Valid in-state driver’s license with an acceptable, safe driving record

Commission based. $8,000 - $13,000 per month.
