** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and notify appropriate internal contacts and/or public emergency services as required.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, common areas, parking areas and perimeter routes. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.

+ Control access to the facility by verifying identification, checking credentials, managing visitor registration and issuing temporary badges in accordance with site procedures.

+ Monitor alarm panels, access control systems and video surveillance to identify irregular activity, then take appropriate action following post orders.

+ Help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity through high-visibility presence, professional engagement and consistent patrol patterns.

+ Complete detailed incident reports, shift activity logs and other documentation with accurate times, actions taken and follow-up notifications.

+ Support a technology-focused workplace by enforcing rules related to restricted areas, confidential work spaces and equipment rooms, and escalating concerns when policies are not being followed.

+ Perform perimeter and interior checks of doors, gates and critical points, reporting maintenance concerns such as broken locks, lighting outages and other issues that could impact site operations.

+ Communicate clearly with site management, employees and other Allied Universal team members to coordinate responses, share observations and maintain continuity across shifts.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.

+ CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Guard card and/or license is preferred.

+ Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
