As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Dispatch in Sterling, VA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Day Time Thur  11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

• Fixed‑Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"):
  You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program:
  In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by following site‑specific procedures, communication protocols, and appropriate emergency response activities at a technology‑focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, gathering details and relaying information to onsite personnel, first responders, and/or management as needed.
• Monitor communication systems, cameras, alarm activity, and other security‑related platforms to help identify unusual activity and support timely dispatch decisions.
• Document calls for service, incident details, access activity, and shift updates in logs and reporting systems with clear and professional written communication.
• Coordinate routine and urgent dispatch requests, prioritize multiple events, and help support continuity of operations across the location and surrounding perimeter as needed.

• Have at least 1 year of security‑related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
