** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access activities, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a technology location.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to the appropriate contacts.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

+ Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor and contractor access as directed by site policies, and assist with traffic flow, badge checks, and/or delivery coordination.

+ Support day-to-day operations at the location by maintaining a visible presence, communicating professionally with employees and guests, and following post orders and Allied Universal protocols.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + A guard card or license is preferred.

+ CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
