Pay Rate: $22.71 / Hour

Job Schedule: Mon 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM;
Tue 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM;
Wed 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM;
Thu 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM;
Fri 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and observe activity across the location, offering directions and assistance while supporting a professional and courteous environment.
Communicate with healthcare personnel, visitors, and/or local responders as needed regarding security-related concerns, suspicious activity, and site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

Must have 1 or more years of security-related experience.
Must meet hospital vaccine requirements.
Must be able to work in a hospital environment that includes a morgue.
Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
Must be 21 or more years of age.
Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
Must have 2 or more years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
