- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a technology location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site contacts and/or public emergency services as needed.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, equipment areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards or unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and visitor/vendor activity, verifying authorization and directing individuals to appropriate areas in accordance with site-specific requirements.
- Complete routine reports and incident documentation, communicate shift activity to site leadership, and assist with client requests related to site operations.
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
