Data Center Security Specialist, DC Security Amer-East

Key Job Responsibilities

• Serve as a Data Center Security Specialist (individual contributor), driving operational security excellence across multiple facilities within a short driving distance.
• Identify physical security gaps and shortcomings, and lead efforts to resolve issues immediately.
• Coordinate with vendors on new security construction, repairs, daily operations, patrols, and planning.
• Extract metrics and monitor improvements using hard data.
• Recommend enhancements to electronic surveillance and access controls.
• Educate data center occupants on false alarm reduction.
• Develop and implement security processes and procedures.
• Produce reports, create presentations, and communicate status to management.

• 2+ years overseeing security operations and working with security vendors/contractors.
• 6+ months experience in security roles, preferably in a data center or similar environment.
• Knowledge of access control systems (Lenel, Milestone) and CCTV systems with digital recording.

• College degree (bachelor’s) or background in military, law enforcement, TSA security screening, or correctional facility duties.
• 2+ years of security experience or equivalent training, military experience, or education.
• 1+ year of leadership experience.

The base salary range for this position is 28.00 – 50.00 USD hourly. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and location.
