We are seeking a part‑time (24 hours per week) Information Review and Release Analyst (IRRA) to join our Production Team in Herndon, VA. The IRRA will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing information to determine its releasability while ensuring compliance with the customer's rules, regulations, and organizational policies. The role requires a high level of analytic and critical thinking skills as well as the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders.
Responsibilities- Review and analyze various types of information (documents) – books, articles, academic papers, screenplays, speeches, etc.
- Apply critical thinking skills to identify and redact national security equities from documents in compliance with the customer's rules, regulations, and policies.
- Perform analytic research and analysis to exploit different customer databases and upload the appropriate metadata to manuscript cases within the team's portal/tool.
- Coordinate with stakeholders, including SMEs, to gather and collect information and clarify any issues related to the release of information, providing recommendations (e.g., alternate language) to the government review board members for approval.
- Communicate with customers to build rapport, meet reasonable deadlines, and provide timely and accurate responses, including responding to phone calls and emails.
- Perform quality control and assurance checks to deliver high‑quality products for customers/requesters via implementing quality control/assurance measures.
- Expert in reviewing, analyzing, and redacting equities within documentation (both electronic and hardcopy).
- Demonstrated knowledge of the customer's rules, regulations, and policies in the review and release process.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the customer's databases and tools/systems.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Strong attention to detail and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Ability to work well in a constantly evolving work environment.
- Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of sixteen years of relevant experience.
- Experience can be considered in lieu of a degree; TS/SCI with polygraph is transferable to this program and customer.
- Previous experience as an Information Review and Release Analyst on the Kodiak Program.
- Previous experience as an Editor and/or Associate Editor.
- Previous CADRE experience; TS/SCI with polygraph required.
