Join the Next Generation of Builders: HVAC/Plumbing Instructor (Part-Time)

Are you a seasoned tradesperson looking to give back to the industry that built your career? Our premier construction trade school in Loudoun County, Virginia, is looking for a passionate HVAC Instructor and Plumbing Instructor to help shape the next generation of commercial craft professionals.

This is more than just a job; it’s an opportunity to mentor aspiring tradespeople and ensure the future of the commercial construction industry remains strong.

Opportunity
  • Location:

    Northern Virginia (Loudoun County)
  • Schedule:

    One night per week (4 hours)
  • Compensation:
    Competitive hourly wage

    Access to master trainers and a dedicated support team
Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver High-Impact Training:
    Lead classroom instruction for HVAC apprenticeship programs, focusing on commercial construction standards.
  • Curriculum Guidance:
    Follow established lesson plans while bringing real-world scenarios and "pro-tips" from the field into the classroom.
  • Student Mentorship:
    Evaluate student progress, answer technical questions, and encourage professional development.
  • Safety Leadership:
    Demonstrate and enforce industry-standard safety protocols at all times.
Qualifications
  • Licensure:
    Must hold a valid Journeyman License (HVAC or Plumbing).
  • Experience:

    A minimum of 5 years of hands-on field experience in the trade.
  • Communication:
    Ability to explain technical concepts in a way that is clear and engaging for students.
  • The "Right" Attitude: A desire to see others succeed and a commitment to the growth of the construction community.
