Commercial Painter Position

Skillforce is looking for skilled and reliable commercial painters for projects in Virginia. The ideal painter has 2+ years experience as a commercial painter. There is some small drywall repair expected. Pay is up to $21-26 DOE.

• Wash, scrape, sand, and smooth surfaces to prepare them for proper paint application.
• Use brushes, spray guns, and other equipment to apply paint, enamel, lacquer, and coatings to various surfaces.
• Ensure all projects meet company quality standards and specifications.
• Keep the work area organized and clean, including the care and maintenance of all equipment.
• Adhere to safety protocols by always wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE) and following OSHA guidelines.

• Previous industrial painting experience is required.
• Strong commitment to safety and adherence to all safety guidelines.
• Excellent attention to detail and quality workmanship.
• Reliable transportation to job sites.
• Must have your own brushes, rollers, drop cloths and PPE.
