Electronic Security Service Technician

Active Security Consulting LLC seeks an Electronic Security Service Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, and related electronic security systems for high-risk clients. Working in the field, you will perform diagnostics, repairs, system upgrades, and preventive maintenance, ensuring reliability and compliance with security standards. You will interpret schematics, document service activity, and collaborate with security consultants and protection teams.

This role requires strong technical skills, professionalism, discretion, and a mission-focused attitude in sensitive environments.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and service access control, CCTV/IP video, and intrusion alarm systems
• Perform field diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs of electronic security components
• Conduct preventive maintenance, testing, and system performance checks
• Pull, terminate, and label low-voltage cabling to industry standards
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, floor plans, and equipment manuals
• Document service calls, maintenance actions, and configuration changes accurately
• Coordinate with security consultants and protection teams for system readiness
• Train end users on proper operation of security systems
• Ensure work complies with safety, code, and client security requirements
• Maintain tools, test equipment, and inventory in operational condition
