As an HVAC Service Technician, you’ll have the support of an experienced dispatch, customer service, and operations team behind you. You’ll diagnose and repair residential heating and cooling systems, help homeowners understand their options, and have the resources needed to deliver quality service without cutting corners.

What You’ll DoDiagnose, service, repair, and maintain residential heating and cooling systems.
Work on furnaces, boilers, air conditioners, heat pumps, mini-splits, air handlers, thermostats, and indoor air quality equipment.
Troubleshoot electrical, refrigeration, airflow, mechanical, hydronic, and combustion-related issues.
Perform preventive maintenance, equipment startups, system testing, and safety inspections.
Explain diagnosed problems and recommend appropriate repair, maintenance, or replacement options.
Obtain customer approval before completing work and collect payment when appropriate.
Complete accurate service notes, equipment records, photos, and follow-up documentation.
Communicate parts, scheduling, and return-trip needs promptly to the office.
Protect customers’ homes and maintain a clean, professional work area.
Maintain assigned vehicles, tools, diagnostic equipment, and truck inventory.
Coordinate with dispatch, customer service, installation, and management teams.
Participate in required meetings, technical training, and professional development.
What We’re Looking ForPrevious residential HVAC service, repair, and maintenance experience.
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
Experience servicing furnaces, boilers, air conditioners, heat pumps, mini-splits, and related systems.
Knowledge of refrigeration, electrical, airflow, combustion, hydronic, and control systems.
Ability to independently manage service calls from diagnosis through completion.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to explain technical findings and available options clearly to homeowners.
Commitment to safe, dependable, and high-quality work.
EPA Universal Certification required.
Applicable Virginia trade licenses or certifications preferred.
Comfortable using tablets, mobile applications, and field service software.
Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
Ability to perform physical work in attics, basements, crawl spaces, mechanical rooms, and outdoor conditions.
