Full Stack Developer

ASSYST is seeking a versatile Full Stack Developer to join our engineering team for an upcoming project with our federal client in Sterling, VA. The candidate will be responsible for building scalable web applications from front to back, designing robust system architectures, and providing technical leadership to ensure high‑quality code delivery.

Job Location:

Sterling, VA (Onsite)

• 3–6+ years in full‑stack development with expertise across frontend and backend
• Proven experience leading projects or mentoring team members
• Proficiency in frontend frameworks:
  React, Angular, Vue
• Strong backend development skills with Node.js, Python, Java, Spark
• Advanced knowledge of HTML, CSS, Java Script
• Expertise in REST/Graph
  
  QL API design
• Hands‑on experience with Open Shift, Kubernetes, and Data Bricks
• Ability to design scalable, maintainable web applications
• Knowledge of SQL/No
  
  SQL databases, caching strategies, and authentication mechanisms
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical abilities
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Commitment to code quality, documentation, and agile practices
• Experience with microservices and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with testing frameworks and Dev Ops practices
• Specialization in performance optimization, security, or mobile/web hybrid applications
