Position Description

Design and develop software applications using Twelve‑Factor App methodology from functional requirements.
Develop highly innovative UI design and web components, achieved through collaboration and dialogue with other experts in the field. The candidate will continually assess advancements in technologies to gauge and recommend better solutions for the customer to improve the software developer experience and efficient delivery of software.
Implementation of Graphical User Interface (GUI) using presentation tier technologies such as JSP, HTML, CSS, XML, AJAX, jQuery, Angular

Front end development using modern JavaScript and experience with ES13+ features, such as classes, arrow functions, template literals and modules.
Design Web Page components that are compliant with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act (29 U.S.C. 794d).
Design and develop Microservices using Spring Boot, Java and RESTful architecture.
Use the Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery tools Bitbucket, Maven, Jenkins, Nexus, UCD to version control, build, store artifact, and deploy the software projects to modern cloud environments like Open Shift, AWS.
Develop and maintain Enterprise Java Batch application using Java Specification Request (JSR) 352 specification and schedule java batch jobs using Control‑M.
Develop Simple Object Access Protocol (SOAP) based Web Services using Web Service Technologies and Security such as JAX‑WS Web Services, WS‑Security, IBM Data Power, Web Services‑Interoperability (WS‑I), Message Transmission Optimization Mechanism (MTOM), or SOAP with Attachments (SWA), Apache Axis and Web Service Definition Language (WSDL).
Develop Data Access Layer (DAO) to interface the application with IBM DB2 9.0 database running on z/OS 64‑bit mainframe operating systems for IBM mainframes that queries and retrieves data using SQL, JNDI, JDBC template and through Object Relational Mapping (ORM) tool Hibernate.
Create POCs, templates for developing Behavior Driven Development (BDD) test framework for the APIs using Cucumber, Gherkin, and Java.
Develop unit test cases for every possible Java class with real scenarios using Junit, Mockito and Power Mock frameworks.
Use MS Project, Visio and IT Governance Frameworks to document the solution architecture & develop UML based design documents.
Attend all customer technical discussions/design/development meetings and provide technical inputs to further enhance the code quality/process.
Impact functional strategy by developing new solutions, processes, standards, or operational plans that position Client competitively in the marketplace.
Provide guidance/support to other junior/mid-level developers.

Detailed Skills Requirements Foundation for Success (Basic Qualifications)

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or a related field.
Masters or Doctorate degree may substitute for required experience.
10+ years of experience with Java, Springboot, Angular, React.
Extensive Design and Programming skills in Java and JEE technologies.
Extensive hands‑on experience with one or more frameworks such as Angular

JS, and Express/Node.js.
Experience working on Agile projects and strong knowledge of Agile terminology and tools including Version One.
