Responsibilities
- Guide AI/ML development program to grow AI/ML skills in the engineering workforce.
- Develop, oversee, and collaborate on intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) methods across imagery, radar, and radio frequency data.
- Apply statistical and AI/ML methods to ISR problems.
- Develop models of payloads based on knowledge of radio‑frequency hardware and computer hardware (BSEE/Computer Engineering background desired).
- Use academic credentials and experience in instruction of engineering or computer science topics to help develop and curate AI/ML training curriculum.
- Grow object discrimination and probabilistic reasoning skills applied to data sets.
- Learn about modeling observable phenomena such as radio emissions and link budgets to guide discrimination and identification approaches.
- Typically requires a STEM degree and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience, unless prohibited by local laws or regulations.
- Experience with signal processing, stochastic methods, or probabilistic modeling.
- AI/ML application experience in radio signal classification or similar.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government‑issued TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
- Preferred: curriculum development experience (academic or industry).
- Preferred: programming language experience in Python, C++, and Java.
- Preferred: high‑performance computing expertise.
- Preferred: advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.).
- Preferred: demonstrated academic instruction background (lecturer or graduate teaching assistant).
Salary range: 118,300
USD – 224,900
USD.
