We’re seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our growing Data Engineering team. This role involves designing, building, and maintaining components across our data stack, which handles approximately a terabyte of data from the personal banking domain. You’ll be instrumental in translating business requirements into scalable, production‑ready solutions with minimal oversight.
You’ll work closely with cross‑functional stakeholders to ensure solutions align with development standards and industry best practices.The ideal candidate will take full ownership of the development lifecycle, delivering high‑performance, reliable systems that meet our uptime and scalability expectations. Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in software development.
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience in cloud‑based Data Engineering solutions.
- Expertise in Python, PySpark, Dataproc, Cloud Functions, and Airflow Composer
. - Proficiency with No
SQL databases like Big Query and Firestore
. - Strong grasp of data warehousing and database design principles
. - Advanced SQL skills and experience with query optimization
. - Proven ability to manage large‑scale datasets and build high‑performance applications
. - Strong collaboration skills and ability to take full ownership of solution design, implementation, and release.
- Familiarity with GIT workflows for version control.
- Hands‑on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or similar cloud ecosystems.
- Experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines

Exposure to BI tools such as Looker, experience with Bigtable, Redis, Databricks, Java, Kubernetes, and Docker.
- Deep understanding of Data Platforms
