Vulcan Materials Company is the nation’s largest producer of construction aggregates and a major producer of asphalt and ready‑mixed concrete.

• Promote Safety – prioritize safety throughout operations for yourself and others in accordance with MSHA and Vulcan standards.
• Operate Equipment – drive a ready‑mix truck, receive a load, evaluate slump, drive to the job site, maneuver the truck, attach chutes, and clean the truck.
• Inspect and Maintain Equipment – perform pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections and complete daily mobile equipment reports; clean the outside of the vehicle and chutes to prevent concrete buildup.
• Document and Record Information – complete all required forms, service reports, tickets, and paperwork.
• Coordinate with Dispatch – work closely with dispatch, maintenance, and plant management to facilitate information flow for customer service.
• Perform General Physical Activities – clean the vehicle, align chutes, climb a ladder to inspect loads, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Additional Responsibilities – other duties as assigned.

• Ready to Drive – must possess a commercial driver’s license and a valid DOT physical or the ability to obtain one.
• Knowledge of Best Practices – knowledge of operating and servicing ready‑mix trucks; experience with DOT rules preferred.
• Flexibility – willing to work overtime and extended hours, and to work outside in all weather conditions.
• Customer Focus – responsible for customer relationships and to represent Vulcan on job sites and highways.
• Clean Driving Record – a clean and safe driving record and the ability to safely operate equipment.

Hourly Range: $24.50 – $36.08 (not including discretionary bonus or equity package).
