Coverage is needed for:

• August 22-27
• August 31-September 14

Weekdays

• 7:00 AM-4:00 PM (day shift)
• 4:00 PM-7:00 AM (night call)

Weekends

• 24-hour call (7:00 AM-7:00 AM)

Required Licenses & Certifications

• Active Ohio License
• NCCPA Board Certification (PA)
• ACLS Certification
• Active DEA

• Minimum of 1 year of surgical experience
• Experience assisting with:
  • Cardiac surgery
  • Thoracic surgery
  • Vascular surgery

• NP candidates will be considered only if they are:
  • RNFA certified
  • Experienced in open-heart surgery

• Hospital rounding
• First assist in surgery (elective and emergent)
• Clinic assistance
• Call coverage

Candidates should be comfortable assisting with:

• CABG
• Cardiac surgery
• Thoracic surgery
• Vascular surgery

• Chest tube removal
• Pulmonary artery catheter removal
• Epicardial wire removal
• Intra-aortic balloon pump removal
• Vein harvesting
• Artery harvesting
