Position: Cath Lab Nurse (RN) in Steubenville, OH

Schedule/

Hours:

• 13-week contract
• 5x8-hour day shifts
• On-call requirement:
  Monday through Friday from 2:30 PM to 6:00 AM, and Saturday/Sunday from 6:00 AM to 6:00 AM
• Scheduled for two on-call days per week and three weekends in a six-week period

Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse license in Ohio
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• Prior experience in a Cath Lab preferred
• Strong critical thinking, assessment, and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative clinical team

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care before, during, and after cardiac catheterization procedures
• Monitor patients' vital signs and respond promptly to changes in condition
• Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
• Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, treatments, and procedural details
• Participate in on-call coverage, responding efficiently to urgent situations and emergencies
• Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain Cath Lab equipment to the highest standard
• Support patient education and post-procedure instructions to promote recovery
