Merchandise Assistant Manager at Dollar Tree.

Your role is to support the Store Manager in leading a dynamic team of associates, managing merchandising activities, and ensuring a positive customer experience.

• Assists with all store functions and daily activities.
• Performs opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Protects and secures company assets, including store cash.
• Adheres to all policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Maintains store areas (stockroom and sales floor) to company standards.
• Processes corporate directives such as Pull and Hold/Destroy, Task Compliance, Key Survey requests, and other store‑related communications.
• Maintains cleanliness of the store, including bathrooms, floors, trash, and overall presentation.
• Ensures a positive, safe, and respectful environment with professional interactions with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
• Processes the receipt and return of DSD merchandise.
• Manages freight flow in accordance with productivity standards.
• Orders and stocks merchandise, including frozen and refrigerated items, per productivity standards.
• Ensures the sales floor is sales‑effective.
• Plans, merchandises, and maintains clip strips and power panels with sales‑effective items.
• Plans and implements monthly sales planners.

• Prior retail and management experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Must be able to lift 30‑50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation.
