Are you an experienced Maintenance Operative looking for a long term opportunity? We are seeking a skilled and reliable individual to carry out a variety of repairs and maintenance tasks across residential properties in the Stevenage area.

This is a temp-to-perm role offering stability, a council van for daily use, and the chance to join a supportive and well established property services team.

The Role You will be responsible for delivering high-quality maintenance work, including:

• Basic carpentry repairs (doors, skirting, frames, and general repairs)
• Tiling installation and repairs
• Shower maintenance and installation, including reseals and minor plumbing fixes
• General property repairs within occupied and void properties
• Completing job sheets and maintaining professional tenant interactions
• Ensuring all work is carried out safely and to a high standard

What We're Looking ForExperience in a maintenance or multi-trade role Competency in carpentry, tiling, and shower-related work

Full UK driving licence

Ability to work independently and manage your own workload

Strong customer service skills

Desirable:

• Experience with in social housing or local authority settings
• Relevant trade qualifications
