HVAC Technician

Salary:

Up to £46,000 per annum + 15% shift allowance and company van plus Veolia benefits.

40 hours per week, Monday to Thursday nights.

• Troubleshoot problems with equipment and carry out repairs.
• Complete site documentation before and after work tasks.
• Supervise specialist subcontractors.
• Carry out Risk Assessment of Equipment Maintenance Task List steps and ensure they are kept valid.
• Update maintenance task lists.
• All work on site to be carried out in accordance with site EHS (Environmental Health and Safety) and Veolia EHS rules and guidelines.
• Flexibility to work around Maintenance Shutdowns.
• Participate in audits of the Air Conditioning plant and follow up on actions.
• Prepare, compile and manage own quotations and works approvals.
• Ownership of maintaining plant asset and F‑gas register.
• Stand‑by on call rota.

• Recognised trade qualification, City & Guilds Refrigeration and Air‑conditioning (7189) or equivalent.
• Experience in a similar role and good understanding of the basic fundamentals of the various utilities systems.
• Willingness to expand working knowledge into mechanical and electrical systems.
• Working knowledge of Building Management Systems.
• Good understanding of Preventive Maintenance Systems.
• Worked within a Computerised Maintenance Management Work Order system environment.
• Troubleshooting/repair of electrical systems, related mechanical experience is a distinct advantage.
• Ability to pass Security Clearance check.
