HVAC Technician

Salary: up to £44,000 per annum + on call allowance and company van plus Veolia benefits.

Hours:

40 hours per week, Monday to Thursday nights.

As a HVAC Technician you’ll be pushing for innovative solutions to create a more sustainable future for all.

• Diagnose and repair HVAC equipment.
• Complete site documentation before and after work tasks.
• Supervise specialist subcontractors.
• Carry out risk assessments of equipment maintenance tasks and ensure task lists remain valid.
• Update maintenance task lists.
• Perform all work on site in accordance with site EHS and Veolia EHS rules and guidelines.
• Provide flexibility to work during maintenance shutdowns.
• Participate in audits of the air‑conditioning plant and follow up on actions.
• Prepare, compile and manage own quotations and works approvals.
• Maintain plant asset and F‑gas register.
• Stand‑by on call rota.

• Recognised trade qualification, City & Guilds Refrigeration and Air‑conditioning (7189) or equivalent.
• Experience in a similar role with a good understanding of the basic fundamentals of various utility systems.
• Willingness to expand working knowledge into mechanical and electrical systems.
• Knowledge of Building Management Systems and preventive maintenance systems.
• Experience with in a computerised maintenance management work order system environment.
• Troubleshooting and repair experience of electrical systems, with related mechanical experience considered an advantage.
• Ability to pass a security clearance check.
