Electrician Technician - Estates Maintenance

We are recruiting for an Electrician Technician who shares our vision to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.

The role involves maintenance and installation work on all facilities, plant, and equipment throughout East and North Herts NHS Teaching Trust. Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing faults on healthcare building services such as hot water boilers, sterilizers, washer disinfectors, electrical distribution services, motors, heating and ventilating plant, fire, nurse call and panic/intruder alarms, and carrying out planned preventive maintenance tasks.

The technician will also order engineering spares, materials and equipment, understand the layout and operation of building services, instruct others on maintenance and inspection, travel between various hospital sites, and be able to work on an on‑call rota of 1 in 5 weeks.

Mileage allowance will be paid if an own vehicle is used. The trust values flexibility and encourages employees to request flexible working patterns.
