We are recruiting for a Horticultural Engineer in Stevenage, working within a well-established horticultural machinery business.

Key Responsibilities

As a Horticultural Engineer in Stevenage, you will:

Diagnose faults using modern diagnostic systems and software
Service, maintain and repair horticultural machinery and equipment
Complete warranty, chargeable and internal repair work
Carry out routine maintenance and inspections
Safely operate machinery and use specialist tools
Liaise professionally with customers and suppliers
Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within required timescales

What we're looking for

To succeed in this Horticultural Engineer role in Stevenage, you will need:

Experience working with horticultural, agricultural, ground care or similar machinery
Strong mechanical understanding and fault-finding ability

Experience with servicing, maintenance and repairs
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Self-motivated and proactive approach to problem-solving
Good physical fitness and practical hands-on skills
Strong customer service and communication skills
Full clean driving licence
