We are recruiting for a Horticultural Engineer in Stevenage, working within a well-established horticultural machinery business. This role offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of modern horticultural equipment, carrying out diagnostics, servicing and repairs to keep machinery operating at its best. If you have experience as a mechanic, agricultural engineer, ground care engineer or within horticultural machinery, this could be an excellent opportunity to develop your career.

• Structured Monday-Friday working week with an early finish on Fridays

• Diagnose faults using modern diagnostic systems and software
• Service, maintain and repair horticultural machinery and equipment
• Complete warranty, chargeable and internal repair work
• Carry out routine maintenance and inspections
• Safely operate machinery and use specialist tools
• Liaise professionally with customers and suppliers
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within required timescales

• Experience working with horticultural, agricultural, ground care or similar machinery
• Strong mechanical understanding and fault-finding ability
• Experience with servicing, maintenance and repairs
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Self-motivated and proactive approach to problem-solving
• Good physical fitness and practical hands-on skills
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Full clean driving licence
