AboutThe Role
We are seeking a detail-driven and analytical Accounting Manager to support our Controller and VP of Finance while helping drive financial accuracy and operational excellence. In this role, you’ll play a key part in month-end close, financial reporting, inventory management, and continuous improvement initiatives. Ideal candidates bring strong accounting experience, a passion for data-driven decision-making, and a desire to collaborate across departments to strengthen financial performance and processes.
Responsibilities- Support the Controller in the month-end close process to ensure timely and accurate reporting
- Manage ASC 842 lease accounting and reporting
- Oversee fixed assets accounting and tracking
- Prepare account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Assist with annual audit preparation and execution
- Coordinate and participate in inventory cycle counts and year-end valuation
- Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor financial health
- Identify opportunities to streamline, standardize, and improve accounting processes
- Develop and document accounting policies to strengthen internal controls
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support business decisions and financial best practices
- Provide backup support for payroll, spiffs, and commissions
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CPA preferred)
- 5–8 years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong analytical skills and a passion for turning data into actionable insights
- Experience with accounting systems, reporting tools, and business intelligence platforms
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial modeling skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- High level of integrity and professionalism
- Leadership ability and experience supporting or overseeing responsibilities
