Timber Ridge Health and Rehabilitation – Accounts Payable Clerk
Pay: $18.00 – $19.00 per hour.
Responsibilities- Process and verify payment of invoices on a timely basis.
- Manage accounts payable functions, including invoicing, collections, and aging analysis.
- Assist in the establishment and maintenance of an adequate accounting system that reflects the operating cost of the facility.
- Maintain organized records of invoices, payments, receipts, and other financial documents for audit readiness.
- Serve as the first point of contact at the reception desk, greeting visitors and directing them to appropriate offices or resident rooms.
- Answer telephone calls, determine the nature of the call, and direct callers to the appropriate individual or department.
- Assist with administrative duties as directed, including typing, filing, and posting accounts.
- Ability to perform double‑entry bookkeeping accurately while understanding debits and credits in various accounting contexts.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
- Effective communication skills to interact professionally with vendors, clients, visitors, and team members.
- Prior housekeeping experience preferred.
- If no experience, on‑the‑job training will be provided.
