A is recruiting a Part-Time, Temporary Alumni Relations/Administrative Assistant for one of our premiere clients in Stevens Point. The hours would be around 20 hours per week, Monday – Friday, flexible.
Part-Time, Temporary Alumni Relations/Administrative Assistant
Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Temporary Alumni Relations Assistant to support a variety of initiatives related to alumni engagement, student programming, and annual giving efforts. This role is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills, digital proficiency, and a passion for community-building.
Key Responsibilities:
- Alumni Email Management:
- Approve alumni email accounts in batches, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal guidelines.
- Assist with texting platform
- Website Maintenance and Support:
- Assist in editing and updating web pages as needed.
- Support the ongoing Elementor-based build, maintenance and Title II compliance of the Advancement website.
- Assist in creation of social content and videos
- Program Launch Support:
- Assist with the launch of the Alumni Mentoring Program, including scheduling, communication, and participant support.
- Assist in the development and launch of the Annual Giving Stewardship program.
- Assist with execution of Peer to Peer fundraising on targeted campaigns and for reunions
- Student Engagement:
- Provide support to the Student Alumni Association (SAA), including event planning, student communications, and general coordination.
- Data Assistance:
- Assist with address updating and Alma Connect Employment updating
- Outbound alumni and donor calling:
- Assist in reaching out to alumni and friends of UWSP to encourage financial support and invite them back to events on campus (example:
Calling our Iris Reunion Class celebrating 50 years of being alumni to come back for the event and make a gift in support of the occasion)
- Event Support:
- Assist with planning and execution of key alumni and community events such as:
- Days of Service
- Alumni Engagement Events
- Awards Banquets
Qualifications:
- Experience in administrative support, event coordination, or alumni relations preferred.
- Familiarity with website content management systems, especially Elementor or Word Press.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail and deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace; experience with email and CRM systems a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Additional Information:
- Some evening or weekend work may be required during key events.
