Position: Client Relationship Consultant 1-4 (Banker) Stevens Point, WI

Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships across multiple channels, including in‑person, by appointment, and virtually.
  • Assess and attend to customers’ banking needs, obtaining and processing account information.
  • Demonstrate and educate clients on available deposit and loan products and services, recommending solutions based on each customer’s unique goals.
  • Proactively reach out to and follow up with clients, asking questions to learn about their financial needs and channel preferences.
  • Open new consumer and business accounts, complete service requests, and submit credit applications.
  • Process basic transactions and provide a consistent optimal client experience.
  • Develop collaborative partnerships with branch team members and partners to best serve clients.
  • Leverage available resources and technologies, including digital products, to optimize the client experience and maintain operational excellence and accuracy.
  • This position requires National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the terms of the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and RegulationZ, and includes a mandatory criminal background and credit check.
Client Relationship Consultant 1
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • One to two years of retail banking experience, or equivalent training.
  • Proven ability to build and foster relationships through proactive outreach.
  • Effective client engagement and communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of bank and branch policies and support systems.
  • Customer service and interpersonal proficiency.
  • Experience using and demonstrating digital products and self‑service technologies.
  • Ability to identify client needs using a digital‑first mindset.
  • Basic proficiency in making appropriate recommendations both reactively and proactively.
  • Experience in the financial services industry is preferred.
Client Relationship Consultant 2
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Three to four years of retail banking experience, or equivalent training.
  • Proven ability to build and foster relationships through proactive outreach.
  • Effective client engagement and communication skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of bank and branch policies, procedures, and support systems.
  • Customer service and interpersonal proficiency.
  • Experience using and demonstrating digital products and self‑service technologies.
  • Ability to identify client needs using a digital‑first mindset.
  • Basic proficiency in making appropriate recommendations reactively and proactively.
  • Experience in the financial services industry is preferred.
Client Relationship Consultant 3
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Four to five years of retail banking experience, or equivalent training.
  • Proven ability to build and foster relationships through proactive outreach.
  • Effective client engagement and communication skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of bank and branch policies, procedures, and support systems.
  • Knowledge of all retail products and services.
  • Customer service and interpersonal proficiency.
  • Experience participating in sales campaigns/promotions.
  • Experience using and demonstrating digital products and self‑service technologies.
  • Ability to identify client needs using a digital‑first mindset.
  • Advanced proficiency in making appropriate recommendations both reactively and proactively.
  • Experience in the financial services industry is preferred.
Client Relationship Consultant 4
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Five or more years of retail banking experience, or equivalent training.
  • Proven ability to build and foster relationships through proactive outreach.
  • Effective client engagement and communication skills.
