Position: Pediatric Dentist needed in Stevens Point WI

About the POSITION

We are seeking a full-time Pediatric Dentist to join a Federally Qualified Health Center located in the Stevens Point, Wisconsin region. This organization operates multiple community dental clinics across central Wisconsin, providing comprehensive care to underserved populations and maintaining a strong focus on preventive services, patient access, and integrated community health. The dental program is well-established, team-oriented, and supported by modern facilities and expanded-function dental assistants.

Stevens Point is known for its welcoming community feel, excellent outdoor recreation, strong school systems, and a vibrant local economy. With a blend of small-town charm and university-town amenities, it consistently ranks as one of Wisconsin’s most livable cities.

Schedule & Workflow

Clinic hours vary between 7:30 AM–6:30 PM Monday–Thursday and 7:30 AM–5:30 PM on Friday
. Full-time providers typically work 40 hours per week
, structured as either 4x10-hour or 5x8-hour shifts. Each day includes a 30- or 60-minute lunch break
, along with two hours per week of administrative time
. Schedules are created collaboratively between the provider and the Clinical Chief, with daily operational support from the Practice Manager.

Clinical Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive examinations of teeth, gums, and oral tissues to assess dental health and diagnose conditions or abnormalities.
  • Develop appropriate treatment plans and provide a full scope of pediatric dental care.
  • Administer anesthetics for patient comfort during procedures.
  • Deliver preventive services and track changes in dental health trends.
  • Educate patients and parents on preventive practices and long-term oral health maintenance.
About the COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Salary: $250,000 annually
Medical/Dental Insurance: Yes

CME: $2,500 allowance + 5 days
