Compensation

Estimated Weekly Pay Range:  $6,340–$7,510/week

Job Details (Locum Tenens Physician)

Location:

Stevens Point, WI (54481) – on-site

Position Type:  Locum tenens Hematology/Oncology (travel physician assignment)

Start Date:

Duration:  13 weeks (ASAP – ongoing)

Schedule:

On-site 3–4 days per week 2 weeks per month

Shift Duration:  12-hour shifts (any)

Patient Volume:  Approximately 14–15 patients per day

Setting:  Cancer Center (outpatient clinic)

Beds in Department:  6

Inpatient Coverage:  None (inpatient care referred to tertiary center)

Call:  None

Estimated Credentialing Time:  ~90 days

Job Requirements (Hematology/Oncology Physician)

Board Certification:  Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology/Oncology

Training:  Fellowship 1 (per site requirements)

Licensure:  Active Wisconsin medical license (IMLC not accepted for this assignment)

Certifications:

BLS

Preferred  (Outpatient Oncology & Hematology)

Provide outpatient Hematology/Oncology care including new patient consults and follow-up visits

Provide oversight of treatment in the outpatient clinic setting

Coordinate referrals for patients requiring inpatient admission or tertiary-level services

No procedures required

No inpatient work, no call, and no APC supervision
