About the Position
Urology Physician
Join our dynamic team as a Urology specialist, where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care through both outpatient clinics and surgical procedures. Operating primarily in Stevens Point, you will provide comprehensive urological services, combining clinic and operating room (OR) responsibilities, with a flexible schedule designed to support work-life balance. Required Skills
Board-certified or eligible Urologist with valid medical licensure
Proven expertise in outpatient urology clinics and surgical procedures
Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Nice to Have Skills
Experience with outreach programs and community-based care
Familiarity with Wisconsin healthcare regulations
Multilingual abilities or additional language skills
Advanced training in minimally invasive or robotic urologic surgery
Preferred
Education and Experience
Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
Fellowship training in Urology preferred
Minimum of 2 years practicing in a clinical or surgical setting
Current board certification in Urology
Other Requirements
Availability for system call duties based out of Wausau, including 7-10 days per month, with at least one weekend
Willingness to travel for outreach clinics to Wisconsin Rapids (1-2 days per month)
Compliance with all licensure, certification, and credentialing requirements
Flexibility around the schedule, with days and times to be discussed during the interview
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing patient needs
