Job DutiesWhile there may not be an immediate need for a lecturer in every area, UW-Stevens Point accepts applications in order to create a pool. Upon successful submission you will be considered for future part-time or full-time lecturer opportunities. Discipline areas include:
- Music
- Theater
- Dance
- Studio Art
- Art History
- Graphic Design
- Interior Architecture
- Media Studies
- Professional Communication
Lecturers are hired on a per-course basis each semester, and teaching one semester does not guarantee being assigned the following semester. The teaching hours will vary with a teaching load ranging between 1-12 credits per semester.
Key Job Responsibilities- Facilitates classroom, online, and/or laboratory instruction for one or more courses, including assessment of student performance
- Develops instructional design and curriculum relevant to a course of instruction
- Serves as an initial point of contact for students as it relates to specific course or series content and expectations
College of Fine Arts & Communication
Required Qualifications- Master's degree in appropriate discipline
