While there may not be an immediate need for a lecturer in every area, UW-Stevens Point accepts applications in order to create a pool. Upon successful submission you will be considered for future part-time or full-time lecturer opportunities. Discipline areas include:

• Music
• Theater
• Dance
• Studio Art
• Art History
• Graphic Design
• Interior Architecture
• Media Studies
• Professional Communication

Lecturers are hired on a per-course basis each semester, and teaching one semester does not guarantee being assigned the following semester. The teaching hours will vary with a teaching load ranging between 1-12 credits per semester.

• Facilitates classroom, online, and/or laboratory instruction for one or more courses, including assessment of student performance
• Develops instructional design and curriculum relevant to a course of instruction
• Serves as an initial point of contact for students as it relates to specific course or series content and expectations

College of Fine Arts & Communication

• Master's degree in appropriate discipline
