Job Duties:Tenure track opening at the assistant professor level beginning Fall 2026. The position is a 4/4 teaching load split between teaching Principles of Finance and upper‑level finance courses, particularly advanced classes in corporate finance and investments. Candidates may have the opportunity to teach in the MBA program and be asked to teach at branch campuses in Wausau and Marshfield. Strong candidates will have a demonstrated ability to teach at the undergraduate and graduate level and conduct scholarly research.
Although the department is teaching‑oriented, scholarly activity, professional growth, and university service are required.

Compensation & Benefits:The Assistant Professor – Finance is a full‑time, salaried, exempt faculty position for an academic year (9‑month). Eligible annual salary ranges from $100,000 to $122,920, commensurate with education, experience, and qualifications. Relocation assistance may be available. Required Qualifications:- Earned doctorate (PhD, DBA, etc.) in Finance or a related field (e.g., Economics with a finance emphasis, Accounting with finance emphasis, etc.) from an AACSB or equivalently accredited institution or other high‑quality institution.
- Prior teaching experience at the undergraduate and graduate level, particularly Principles of Finance/Corporate Finance, Investments, Portfolio Management, and other advanced Corporate Finance topics.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct scholarly research.
- Relevant professional experience.
