Lecturers are hired on a per‑course basis each semester; teaching one semester does not guarantee assignment in the following semester. Teaching load varies from 1‑12 credits per semester.

• Early Childhood Education
• Early Childhood Special Education
• Elementary Education (including subject‑specific teaching methods)
• Special Education
• Physical and Health Education
• Education Foundations (including educational psychology, classroom management, and pluralism in education)
• Educational Sustainability
• Language and Literacy
• Trauma‑Informed Pedagogy
• Education Research Methods

• Serve as an initial point of contact for students regarding course content and expectations.
• Develop instructional design and curriculum relevant to the course of instruction.
• Facilitate classroom, online, and/or laboratory instruction for one or more courses, including assessment of student performance.

• Earned master’s degree in an appropriate field.
• Evidence of successful teaching in PK‑12 and/or higher education.
• Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated expertise and experience in the specialty area.

• Earned PhD or EdD in an appropriate field.
• Experience in collaborative and/or inclusionary settings.
• Demonstrated commitment to student success.
