Job DutiesUW-Stevens Point accepts applications from all areas to create a pool for future part‑time lecturer opportunities. Lecturers are hired on a per‑course basis each semester; teaching one semester does not guarantee assignment in the following semester. Teaching load varies from 1‑12 credits per semester.

- Serve as an initial point of contact for students regarding course content and expectations.
- Develop instructional design and curriculum relevant to the course of instruction.
- Facilitate classroom, online, and/or laboratory instruction for one or more courses, including assessment of student performance.
- Earned master’s degree in an appropriate field.
- Evidence of successful teaching in PK‑12 and/or higher education.
- Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated expertise and experience in the specialty area.
- Earned PhD or EdD in an appropriate field.
- Experience in collaborative and/or inclusionary settings.
- Demonstrated commitment to student success.
