While UW‑Stevens Point accepts applications to create a pool for future teaching opportunities, applicants will be considered for part‑time or full‑time lecturer roles on a per‑course basis each semester. Teaching does not guarantee reappointment, and teaching hours range from 1 to 12 credits per semester. The position is offered on campus, with partially remote options available.

Key Job Responsibilities
  • Facilitates classroom, online, and/or laboratory instruction for one or more courses, including assessment of student performance.
  • Develops instructional design and curriculum relevant to a course of instruction.
  • Serves as an initial point of contact for students concerning specific course or series content and expectations.
Required Qualifications
  • MSW/MSSW from a CSWE accredited program.
  • At least two years of post‑master’s social work degree practice experience.
  • Evidence of a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Evidence of strong organization skills and effective communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience teaching at a university level.
  • Experience with online teaching/learning.
