Special note for those interested in writing tutoring: be prepared to submit a writing sample along with this application. As a tutor, you will support peers in achieving their learning goals while learning and growing as a professional.

Responsibilities
  • Provide tutoring and support in one of our service areas.
  • Assist learners in the development of effective study skills and test-taking strategies.
  • Learn and continually apply TLC and tutoring program procedures.
  • Regularly check staff email and communicate with other staff members.
  • Attend required orientations, meetings, and training sessions.

Qualifications
  • Required Qualifications:

    Completed at least one semester at UWSP with at least two semesters remaining.
  • Demonstrate a strong grasp of course material as evidenced by a 3.0 GPA or above and/or a faculty recommendation letter.
  • Available to tutor for at least two semesters.
  • Willing to work with peers in a collaborative, inclusive learning environment.
Education
