This is a tenure-track faculty position with expectations for teaching on-campus full-time during the academic year. The responsibilities associated with this position include: teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in the areas of food and nutrition; engaging in research and scholarship activities; and engaging in service to the department, university and profession.

The Food and Nutrition program is part of the School of Health Sciences and Wellness (SHSW) which has over 1400 students and offers 6 undergraduate majors, 7 graduate degree programs, and several certificate programs. Compensation:
The Assistant Professor of Food and Nutrition is a full-time, salaried, exempt, academic year (9-month), faculty position. Well-qualified candidates can expect a starting annual salary of $56,000 annually commensurate with the candidate’s education, related experience, and qualifications. • Earned doctorate (Ph.D. or Ed.D.) in food and/or nutrition related field, or ABD nearing completion with retention dependent upon completing the doctorate within one year of initial hire
• Good interpersonal skills
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Effective and collaborative team member

• Licensed or eligible for license in Wisconsin as a Registered Dietician
• Academic course teaching experience
