While there may not be an immediate need for a lecturer in every area, UW-Stevens Point (UWSP) accepts applications regardless, in order to create a pool for when there may be a need. An associate lecturer/lecturer/senior lecturer is hired on a per-course basis each semester, and teaching one semester does not guarantee being assigned the following semester. The teaching hours for an associate lecturer/lecturer/senior lecturer will vary with a teaching load ranging between 1-12 credits per semester. While the announcement lists this position as on-site, partially remote opportunities may be available.

• Serves as an initial point of contact for students as it relates to specific course or series content and expectations
• Facilitates classroom, online and/or laboratory instruction for one or more courses, including assessment of student performance
• Develops instructional design and curriculum relevant to a course of instruction

The Associate Lecturer/Lecturer/Senior Lecturer is a part-time, salaried, exempt, academic year (9-month), instructional academic staff position. • Master's degree
• Good interpersonal skills
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Effective team member

• Clinical or academic doctorate degree in a field related to health sciences and wellness
• Academic course teaching experience
