Job DutiesWhile there may not be an immediate need for a lecturer in every area, UW-Stevens Point (UWSP) accepts applications regardless, in order to create a pool for when there may be a need. Upon successful submission of your application, you will be considered for future part‑time associate lecturer/lecturer/senior lecturer opportunities, and your application will be on file as a potential candidate who could possibly fill a position if or when the need arises.
An associate lecturer/lecturer/senior lecturer is hired on a per‑course basis each semester, and teaching one semester does not guarantee being assigned the following semester. The teaching hours for an associate lecturer/lecturer/senior lecturer will vary with a teaching load ranging between 1-12 credits per semester.

Key Job Responsibilities- Serves as an initial point of contact for students as it relates to specific course or series content and expectations
- Facilitates classroom, online and/or laboratory instruction for one or more courses, including assessment of student performance
- Develops instructional design and curriculum relevant to a course of instruction

CompensationThe Associate Lecturer/Lecturer/Senior Lecturer is a part‑time, salaried, exempt, academic year (9‑month), instructional academic staff position.

- Clinical or academic doctorate degree in a field related to health sciences and wellness
