An associate lecturer/lecturer/senior lecturer is hired on a per-course basis each semester, and teaching one semester does not guarantee being assigned the following semester. The teaching hours for an associate lecturer/lecturer/senior lecturer will vary with a teaching load ranging between 1-12 credits per semester.

** The English Department is one of the largest academic units at UW-Stevens Point. Some 17 faculty offer a full range of classes from first-year composition and humanities general education courses to upper-division literature, writing, and teacher education classes fulfilling the requirements of our major, minors, and certificates.

Our commitment to teaching is of primary importance, but department members also manage to engage productively in a variety of scholarly and creative projects. The department also houses the Cornerstone Press, one of the only undergraduate student-staffed publishing houses in the United States.
** Compensation & Benefits:
** The Associate Lecturer/Lecturer/Senior Lecturer is a part-time, salaried, exempt, academic year (9-month), instructional academic staff position.
