Director & UW Extension Specialist

The College of Natural Resources at UW-Stevens Point is seeking a Director & UW Extension Specialist to lead the Extension Lakes program - a statewide collaborative outreach and engagement unit connecting UW-Stevens Point, the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, and UW-Madison Division of Extension.

In this role, you will:

• Lead statewide lakes outreach, education, and programming.
• Build partnerships with lake organizations, communities, agencies, educators, and natural resource professionals.
• Support lake management, watershed education, aquatic invasive species programming, and other critical water resource issues.
• Provide leadership in program planning, fiscal management, and personnel supervision.
• Connect students, research, education, and communities to address real-world natural resource challenges.
• Help leading the annual Wisconsin Lakes and Rivers Convention and represent Extension Lakes at local, regional, national levels.
