CA Engineer

Locations: Stevens Point - Wisconsin

Point of Beginning, Inc., established in 2001, is a multi-faceted civil engineering, landscape architecture, land surveying and materials testing firm based in Stevens Point, Green Bay and Sun Prairie, Wisconsin. We are a talented and experienced staff of 40 including three professional engineers, three professional land surveyors, two professional landscape architects, eight field crews, CADD technicians, and an integral administrative staff.

A robust workload has led to us searching for new team members to help continue the growth and success of our firm! We are seeking a motivated, organized, and driven Civil Engineer for our office in Stevens Point, Wisconsin.

This POB Team Member will work directly with our Director of Construction Administration to effectively complete solicitations for WisDOT projects and assist in managing our construction technicians. You must have experience being a Project Lead on WisDOT projects, and be able to coordinate construction, conduct material testing and complete construction documentation. Effective communication with your team of staff, the Project Engineer, and Contractor(s) will be a must, to ensure a smooth project where issues are proactively resolved prior to construction being affected.

During the construction off season, you will also be teamed with the Director of Engineering to assist with project design, management and productivity.

• Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
• 5 Years of Relative Work Experience on WisDOT projects to include Bridge Work
• 2 Years of Relative Work Experience as a Project Leader on WisDOT Projects
• Proficient with WisDOT Software, Including AWP and MIT
• HTCP Certified for PCC Tec, Agg Tec, TMS, MCT and Nuc Density
• Experience With AutoCAD, Civil 3D & Hydro
  
  CAD Stormwater Modeling Software
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Applications
